The Role
As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies that communicate the unique value of the company’s financial data solutions. You will work closely with Product, Sales, and Design teams to develop compelling product messaging, support go-to-market efforts, and drive adoption and growth.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in product marketing for the Accounting Industry or Office of the CFO, with a deep understanding of their challenges and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities – Senior Product Marketing Specialist (Financial Data SaaS)
Product Messaging & Positioning
Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with accounting professionals and CFOs.
Work with Product and Sales teams to execute impactful go-to-market strategies for new products and feature releases.
Produce high-quality marketing materials, including white papers, case studies, and client success stories, to showcase the company’s solutions.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and refine messaging.
Demand Generation
Partner with the marketing team to implement lead generation campaigns across digital advertising, webinars, and email marketing.
Optimise campaigns to maximise ROI using tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot.
Design account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting high-value prospects in collaboration with Sales.
Customer & Market Insights
Gather customer insights through feedback, surveys, and interviews to inform product marketing strategies.
Monitor competitors in the financial data and SaaS space to maintain a competitive edge.
Content & Sales Enablement
Create content that supports Sales and Product teams, including product decks, technical overviews, and training materials.
Equip Sales with tools and insights to effectively communicate the product’s value to customers.
Support product lifecycle activities, including updates, launches, and retirement strategies.
Ideal Candidate Profile – Senior Product Marketing Specialist (Financial Data SaaS)
Essential Skills & Experience:
4–5 years of experience in product marketing within tech, SaaS, or data-driven environments.
Proven success in creating and executing marketing strategies targeted at the Accounting Industry or Office of the CFO.
Expertise in developing multi-channel campaigns, including ABM and content marketing.
Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an engaging way.
Experience with marketing platforms such as HubSpot or Marketo, and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Leadership teams.
Familiarity with financial data analytics, commercial lending, or financial services sectors.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
