Sales Account Executive – SaaS (AccounTech) - Key Responsibilities
Full Sales Cycle Management
Proactively identify and target prospective accounting firms, establishing a pipeline of opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and referrals.
Develop strong, long-term client relationships by understanding their unique challenges and demonstrating the platform’s ability to transform their operations.
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, illustrating the platform’s ability to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and drive business growth for accountants and their clients.
Oversee the end-to-end sales process, including negotiations, contract discussions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Industry and Market Engagement
Stay updated on trends and developments within the accountancy sector to identify emerging opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate closely with leadership, marketing, and product teams to align on messaging, customer needs, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Performance Tracking
Maintain a well-organised sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and opportunities.
Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior stakeholders.
Sales Account Executive – SaaS (AccounTech) - Required Skills and Experience
Proven Track Record:
A minimum of five years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a preference for candidates with exposure to the accounting, professional services, or financial technology sectors.
End-to-End Sales Experience:
Demonstrated ability to independently manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure.
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with the accountancy market, including its operational needs and advisory services, is highly desirable.
Client-Centric Approach:
A strong history of building relationships with senior decision-makers, tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs, and driving long-term success.
