Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Clarus WMS. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with potential clients. Your focus will be on driving revenue growth and ensuring the continued success of Clarus WMS in the manufacturing, distribution, and 3PL sectors.


  1. Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Research and analyze potential markets and industries to identify new business opportunities. Develop strategic plans to enter and expand Clarus WMS’s footprint in these markets.
  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients, key stakeholders, and industry influencers. Understand their unique needs and pain points to tailor solutions that align with Clarus WMS’s offerings.
  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, positioning, and competitive analysis, to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  1. Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of Clarus WMS’s product offerings, including its features, benefits, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicate this information to potential clients.
  1. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that showcase the value proposition of Clarus WMS’s solutions.
  1. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with potential clients, ensuring they are aligned with Clarus WMS’s business goals and objectives.
  1. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Use this information to adjust strategies and approaches as needed.
  1. Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts. Provide regular reports to the management team on sales performance and market insights.
  1. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery and support of Clarus WMS solutions.


– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

– Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the technology or software industry, preferably in the B2B sector.

– Strong understanding of manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL operations and their software needs.

– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

– Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

– Willingness to travel as needed.
