1st Line Service Desk Agent
Bolton, Westhoughton – 2/3 days per week in office.
Up to £23k
This company are currently expanding and are looking to triple in size over the next year or so. They are a managed service provider and provide IT services such as support, Microsoft 365, email security, managed networks, phone systems and cloud hosting’s. They are partnered with Sage 200 and Oracle NetSuite.
As a 1st Line Service Desk Agent, you will be expected to undertake the following tasks:
- Provide technical support to customers answering queries vis, phone or email.
- Take ownership of user requests and be proactive in dealing with issues.
- Escalate any complex service issues to the next relevant member of staff.
- Communicate with the team and customers to ensure all issues are resolved and service is restored in line with SLA’s.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software operating systems and applications, systems, networks, printers, scanners and associated technologies.
- Engage in admin duties such maintaining records of hardware and software licences etc.
- Communicate professionally, both verbally and written.
- Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Contribute to additional activities such as team meetings and events etc, as and when required.
About you:
- 1 year within a Tech Support role or similar.
- Professional phone and written manner.
- Organised and able to work to deadlines.
- Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities if needed.
- Ability to prioritise and balance multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate good literacy, numeracy and diligence.
